Definitely not. I work in the healthcare industry and if my facial hair gets passed “very neatly trimmed” they want me to wear a beard mask. It’s like a hair net, except for your chin area and looks even more ridiculous.

When I grow it out, everyone likes my goatee except me. It started with the white patches (not grey, white). I wan’t too keen on seeing that. Then some dude who was clearly older than me, called me an old man. I shaved it off that night. I might get lazy and let it grow out next week while I’m on vacation, but come Monday morning after Thanksgiving, it’s all coming off.

Yes and no. Not exactly for no shave November but I am growing some massive side burns that connect to my mustache. Started around mid October. I’ll keep it around until our company Christmas party on 12/3 or if I have to save it before.

My wife doesn’t like it but I do it about every other year.

I haven’t shaved since 10/28 or so. Nice full beard. But, my grandma died two days ago and in our culture, I am not supposed to shave for 40 days. I don’t know if I’ll make it. I will have to trim the beard for sure of I do.

Not asking this sarcastically at all... but does she wear glasses? And if so, does she wear them while she’s shaving? Being able to see properly drastically cuts down on the risk of cutting yourself. Also, going slow over the corners and making sure you’re holding the blade(s) flat against the surface, not at an angle.

Seriously, if she’s been shaving for years, there’s no reason why she should still be nicking or cutting herself EVERY time.

I shaved my head bald toward the end of October (except for the eyebrows), and as of today still haven’t shaved. I do think I’ll trim everything up for Thanksgiving though, as my hair is getting longer than I like it to be.

I should add that it wasn’t planned for No-Shave November...it just kind of happened that way.

I’ve had a beard for years (holy shit I just realize I’ve been sporting a beard for like 8 years, shortly before I was married I think). Although I usually trim it ever other haircut. If I don’t, I look like a hobo. I also shave a couple times a week in the neck and cheekbone area to keep everything as neat as possible. So I guess I don’t really obide.
